Tulip Labrador Retriever Young Female for sale in Annapolis, Maryland

My story
TULIP is a 2-year-old spayed female black lab. Tulip weighs 64 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.DESCRIPTION: TULIP is an adorable, affectionate girl with big brown eyes, a sweet, shy smile, and long fuzzy ears. She is fun and friendly but likes to take her time warming up to new people and new pups. Tulip is sweet and beautiful like a flower, but she is a bit shy. The world is a little scary and she will need a patient family to show her that walks are fun and she doesn't need to shy away from people. She is getting it though! At first she would stop about 6-8 feet from the car and put the brakes on -- but on her next outing she put her front paws on the seat and waited to have her back half picked up and helped up. More recently, she got in and out of the car all by herself (with the encouragement of her foster dog brother)! She realized car rides might be fun! At the kennel, she loved to run and play in the play yard -- but if a new person shows up, she would hide around the corner. She just need time, though. In her foster home only for a short time, she is already comfortable exploring the house and seeking out her foster humans and canine siblings. She's good on walks, and will sometimes tell you when she's had enough and wants to head back home. She is super gentle taking treats. She is a lover of dogs of all sizes! This girl is beautiful and loves a good snuggle session. Just like the flower, this smart girl is pretty, bright, and ready to blossom. She would love to find a home -- even better with a canine companion -- who can show her the ropes of labrador life and help her feel comfortable in her new home. This sweet girl will be the brightest flower in any familys garden. She just needs a place to plant her roots. She is good with dogs, good with cats and approved for kids 10 and up.This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP.
