Troy Labrador Retriever Young Male for sale in Annapolis, Maryland

Troy's story
Troy is a 4-year-old neutered male black lab. Troy weighs 64 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
Troy is a very sweet boy with lots of energy who is very loving! He is enjoying his foster home and slept quietly all night in a dog bed. He enjoyed a morning walk and does well walking on leash. He is good with the resident dogs, but walks best on leash by himself as he's easily distracted. He loves, loves, to have his belly scratched! If you scratch his belly, he will roll over and groan with delight. He's still burning off some energy from being cooped up in the kennel but is burning that and is calmer every day. He's a great, loving boy who is going to be an amazing family member!
FROM TROY: In less than a week, I have charmed my Foster Mom, and she cant even walk past me without stopping to cuddle and I cant help rolling and exposing my belly for a rub. At Petsmart I cozied up to the cashier before I snagged a giant caterpillar stuffie from under the counter which made her laugh as she played tug with me. I am a completely different dog now that I am out of the kennel and got rid of my first day zoomies. I love my naps, taking apart toys that arent tough enough for strong teeth, and playing with neighborhood dogs at the dog park. We should meet. Call me! -Love, Troy
UPDATE: Troy is a joy!!! With his big floppy ears and friendly demeanor, this pup is making human and canine friends throughout the neighborhood. Once he got his zoomies out of his system upon arrival at his foster home this week, he settled in nicely as he tested out all of the toys and checked out the comfort level of the furniture. He is tough on toys, so Foster Mom left only the sturdiest ones down on his level. He plays well with other dogs in the dog park and even showed off a new trick last night when he popped open the inner door lock with his nose to try to follow another dog out of the park. Hes always game for a walk or car ride and loves to be outdoors. Troy has springs on his legs, and can jump pretty high so if a fence is going to be relied on for him, it must be at least 5 feet tall. He is good in the crate, and is getting the hang of being fed in there and will head in and wait for his food. He does pay attention. He's doing well living in a townhome and is approved for that environment, with proper exercise. He has good doggie etiquette when meeting other dogs and gets along well with them.
