Paco Labrador Retriever Adult Male for sale in Annapolis, Maryland

My story
PACO is a 9-year-old neutered male chocolate lab. Paco weighs 50 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.DESCRIPTION: PACO was surrendered by his owner who didn't keep him current on vaccines, couldn't afford a vet, and no longer had the time to give Paco the time, exercise, and affection he wanted (and was willing to give!). Lab Rescue has brought Paco current, and has given him the treatment he needs to get back to full health. Paco is very sweet and gentle with people, and has done well meeting a bunch of other dogs. And, Paco is quite the ball hound! He is the best of both worlds - an energetic boy who loves to play and explore on walks, but also has the mature traits of being able to pick up routines easily and lie calmly with the family. He has been wonderful with his human sisters and has loved the other dogs he has met. Paco appears to know several commands and is working on leash manners - there are just so many new sights and smells! He is a champion toy chewer and destuffer. He is well-behaved when fosters have meal time. He has a good appetite and finishes quickly. He is good about going in the crate for quiet time and sleeps through the night in the crate. Paco has no problems navigating stairs and will happily spring up on any piece of furniture. He is over the moon with foster dad and spent time lying next to him while he worked in his office. He does a lot of "exploring" with his mouth, but is very gentle when taking treats. He would love to have a family who loves to play, especially if they like to throw balls. So, don't be fooled by his age! He's ready to be an active part of your life, but willing and happy to chill when you are! This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP.
