Frosty Yellow Labrador Retriever Young - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Annapolis, Maryland

Frosty is a 3-year-old neutered male yellow lab. Frosty weighs 57 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

Frosty is a happy pup. He is shy when he first meets you, but warms up quickly once he knows you're a friend. He now greets me with a wagging tail and a grin on his face. He has very nice house manners, but needs reassurance if he hears loud noises. He would do best in a quiet home (with a fenced yard) that does not have a lot of people coming and going. Frosty is good with other dogs and has fun playing with them. He is looking for a home with resident dog who can show him the ropes. A confident dog who is not overbearing would make a wonderful companion for this absolutely gorgeous boy.

This dog is from a rural area and has not been exposed to traffic, noise, or groups of people.

For now we are limiting placement to standalone, single family homes in a suburban neighborhood or rural area.

As we learn more about the dogs time spent in foster care, we will evaluate if placement can be expanded to include a more urban environment.

Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland,

Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and northeast North Carolina (30 miles east of I-95 and north of the Pamlico Sound.)

Adopters must travel to Maryland, or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.

Lab Rescue LRCP has between 40 - 80 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events.
