Beautiful Carver 270 Santego Dual CabinLocated in the Beautiful Waters of the Chesapeake Bay just outside Annapolis, Maryland and only a 40 minute drive from downtown Washington DC. What a beautiful way to come and spend time on the water for weekends away from Washington D.C. or come down from New York or Baltimore. This area is some of the finest protected cruising on the entire U.S. east coast with incredible waterfront dining, excellent fishing and crabbing, festivals and so many amazing little art towns to visit by water within a single afternoon's cruising distance. It is one of the most fantastic inland bays in the world and if you wish to go further just cruise south and you arrive at Newport, Virginia, Virginia Beach and the Atlantic Ocean beyond.

This is the luxury
model Carver 27 Santego, not to be confused with the more mainstream
Montego 2757 model which did not have all of the same luxurious extras.

see in the photos.Do a search for "Carver 27 Santego Brochure" and you can find the original brochures from 1988 plus tons of info on sister-ships and owner's reviews and all sorts of information about why these are considered some of the finest cruising vessels that Carver ever made.This particular size is really considered by many people to be the absolute ideal size for a coastal ocean cruiser for weekending and for sport fishing. It is small enough they can be trailered when necessary (no trailer included) and docking is quite easy compared to a larger vessel. Yet the interior is huge and luxurious. The layout of how Carver designed these is one of the nicest and most functional and comfortable layouts of any 27 foot boat ever built. It feels more like a 32 foot boat once you get inside because of the way everything is configured. With the full size bed in front of the salon with curtains and the kitchen midships and fully enclosed head opposite and the double berth cabin aft with the entry companionway on the starboard side, you get the feel that it has everything that a much larger vessel has but in a smaller package with much better fuel economy.

This solidly constructed ocean capable dual cabin sport cruiser was built in 1988. Still to this day Carver Yachts are some
of the most sought after classic cruising vessels available. This one
has two cabins plus a huge luxurious salon. A swim deck and large
cockpit for sport fishing plus an upper deck for incredible sunset
views plus a sun-deck up front with plenty of room for all the ladies
to set up sunbathing with beach towels or tilting sun deck cushions.
Vessel also has a large fully enclosed head with shower and sink and
toilet and a very nice kitchen/galley with sink, two burner stove,
microwave and fridge.

Recently replaced
new port side engine still needs belts and exhaust hose connected.

personally used the boat and I am selling it for the marina where the
past owner fell many months behind on slip fees and marina had to
lien the vessel. Comes with a clear title. Vessel has no hull damage
and solid decks and it was running fine when last used. But since we
do not know a whole lot about it, it is sold AS IS at bargain
basement auction price.
