Berkie Labrador Retriever Adult Female for sale in Annapolis, Maryland

Berkie's story
BERKIE is a 8-year-old spayed female yellow lab. Berkie weighs 70 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
DESCRIPTION Berkie is a beautiful brown-eyed girl that greets new friends with a huge happy smile that rolls out her red-carpet tongue. She has been living on the farm for the last few years where she enjoyed chasing critters in the field and playing with the little humans. Berkie is very sweet and knows a few basic commands. She is ready to leave the farm life behind and find a family that will show her how glorious labby life can be. Berkie is good with dogs. FROM FOSTER: Berkie is a sweet white-faced girl who loves to hang out with her peeps. She will make a great companion for some lucky family. It only took her a day to discover the joy of snuggling on the sofa with foster mom and dad. Turns out she loves to watch tv. Berkie sleeps quietly through the night: she happily slept until 10am one morning when foster mom was especially tired. She doesn't like going into her crate, but once there she's fine. Berkie enjoys the company of her foster siblings, and she's tried enticing them to play inside without success. She is a strong girl who pulls on a leash, so an Easy Walk harness is needed. Berkie is fearful of stairs, but she seems to be getting used to them: when faced with a flight she first whines, then climbs them with ease. She is especially keen to climb the stairs on her own when she remembers there's a cat at the other end. Berkie is way too interested in the cats, so NO CATS.
